What’s Included

Booking & Payment

Halemane — The Old House

Halemane is a charming two-room house with plenty of space for families or small groups.
The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, while the living room includes an attic loft with a queen-sized bed — perfect for two more guests. Both rooms come with large bathrooms finished in yellow and black oxide, giving the space a rustic, earthy feel.

A highlight of Halemane is its wraparound verandah, furnished with easy chairs, a table, and benches. It’s the kind of space where you can spend an entire day — sipping coffee, playing board games, or simply watching birds flit through the trees and shrubs right in front of you. A true slow-living corner of the farm.

Master bedroom

Kaapimane - The Writer's Cottage

A stand-alone cottage tucked between coffee plants and tall silver oaks.
With big windows and warm sunlight filtering in, Coffee Canopy feels airy, quiet, and deeply connected to the outdoors. A favourite among couples looking for privacy and a forest-view porch to unwind in. Good internet and a small work-table to keep your creative juices flowing. We'll get the coffee...

Ideal for: Writers, couples, nature lovers, guests who want silence and greenery.

Gaddemane — The Garden & Paddy View House

Gaddemane sits at the edge of the farm overlooking serene paddy fields, making it one of the most scenic spots on the property.
The cottage has two independent rooms, each designed with simplicity and quiet comfort in mind. Every room includes an attic space with a spare bed, making it ideal for small families or groups travelling together.

With open views, soft breezes, and easy access to garden pathways, Gaddemane is perfect for guests who enjoy slow mornings, long walks, and unhurried time outdoors.

The Work Pad @ Hosamane

The Hosamane has a pretty Guest Room (strictly for a couple, no extra persons) on the first floor of the house higher up in the estate, with large, airy windows overlooking the green canopy, and a verandah and a large living/dining/working lounge on the ground floor (now with a high speed BSNL fiber internet connection). You also have access to a basic kitchen should you want to cook or make coffee (though Harish will arrange that anyway), and a work table there! The whole space is very private and the early morning chorus of the birds around has to be experienced to be believed!

Activities around The Linger Farm Coorg

Doing Nothing is an art we encourage you to perfect. Not that there’s a lack of things to do, but it’s your state of mind when doing them. It's a lot of work.

(Ok, so our map isn't pretty, but you get the idea :D)

Some of us would be happy pottering about – a stroll here, a coffee there and a book finished in an afternoon. For others, the roads beckon – on cycles, or bikes, or cars. Coorg needs no excuse to just drive/ride around, but sometimes it helps to “go see places”. Here’s some:
